dragonfly (latin: odonata)
Odonatas (Dragonflies) form an important part of wetland wildlife and they play a significant roll in its general ecology. They are among the most beautiful and spectacular insects flying today and they are also among the most ancient of living creatures.
Charles Habermann has captured the beauty of these diverse creatures he affectionately calls blowies. In addition to dragonflies, Charles travels throughout Minnesota and Canada to photograph a wide range of natural wonders.
